The project needed to demonstrate several key ideas:

    Customers should be able to enter the store, pick products, and leave without traditional checkout.
  4. A practical demonstration of smart retail and smart mobility
    The showcase needed to help visitors understand how AI retail technology and future mobility platforms could work together.
  5. A new imagination for pop-up retail
    Instead of building every store as a permanent location, future retail could use mobile, modular, and on-demand store formats to serve customers more efficiently.

To bring this concept to life, Cloudpick supported the e-Palette Store showcase with AI-powered unmanned retail technology.

Cloudpick provided the AI-powered unmanned retail layer for the e-Palette Store concept, combining computer vision, smart sensing, access control, automated checkout, and real-time backend management.

The customer journey is designed to be simple:

Enter the mobile store
Customers access the e-Palette Store through a controlled entry process.

Pick products freely
Inside the vehicle-based store, customers can browse shelves and select beverages, snacks, packaged food, and other convenience products.

Walk out naturally
After choosing the products they need, customers leave without scanning each item one by one or waiting for a cashier.

Automatic recognition and settlement
Cloudpick’s AI system identifies the selected products, generates the order, and supports automated settlement.

This creates a true Grab & Go shopping experience inside a mobile retail environment.

The key innovation is not only cashierless shopping. It is the combination of two future-facing ideas: unmanned retail and mobile service infrastructure.

A traditional store is fixed. A vending machine is compact but limited. A mobile AI store can be both flexible and experiential. It can carry real products, provide open-shelf browsing, support automated checkout, and relocate according to demand.
